1. Hand wash in low-temperature water.
Bamboo fiber fabric (bamboo viscose or bamboo lyocell) is usually thin, and the bamboo fiber yarn itself is relatively fragile, so it should be handled with extra care. Machine washing is generally not recommended, as it can cause pilling or thinning. Hot water is also not recommended, as it will accelerate fading (it is sensitive to high temperatures). The correct way is to hand wash in low-temperature or room temperature (below 30 degrees Celsius). Using cold water also saves energy.
2. Choose a mild, environmentally friendly detergent.
Avoid using strong detergents containing bleach, fabric softener, enzymes, or synthetic fragrances. These chemicals can strip the natural oils from the bamboo fibers, causing the fabric to become stiff, dry, and reduce its softness and durability.
3. Wash light and dark colors separately.
Like other fabrics, even if we can achieve the highest colorfastness rating for bamboo fiber (Level 4), washing light and dark colors together can still cause color bleeding. Therefore, it is recommended to wash dark and light-colored fabrics separately to maintain their original color.

4. Hang Dry
Bamboo fiber fabrics are best hung to dry in a well-ventilated, shady environment, avoiding direct sunlight.
5. Low-Temperature Ironing
Delicate bamboo fibers cannot withstand high-temperature ironing. When using an iron, select a low setting (silk, wool) or a medium setting (cotton), and add steam. It is recommended to iron the back: ironing the front directly will make the fabric shiny. If the bamboo fiber yarn used is very fine (e.g., 50S, 60S or finer), it is recommended to place a handkerchief on the fabric surface for further protection.

6. Fewer Washes
Bamboo fiber fabrics have breathable, antibacterial, and sweat-absorbing properties. The Bamboo properties meaning that we do not need to wash them frequently, which can extend the life of this type of fiber.
