bamboo lyocell

Bamboo Lyocell was developed to address the pollution problems still present in the production process of bamboo viscose (which uses strong alkalis and carbon disulfide, resulting in significant pollution).  The production process of bamboo Lyocell is a closed-loop system, using NMMO solvent (an organic solvent) that produces no reaction byproducts and achieves 95% self-recycling, resulting in virtually no harmful waste.

Bamboo Lyocell features a high wet modulus (meaning increased strength, improved wrinkle resistance, and enhanced pilling resistance), which helps to improve the physical properties lacking in bamboo viscose.

Of course, it possesses the inherent characteristics of bamboo, such as antibacterial properties, UV protection, odor resistance, moisture wicking, and a silky smooth feel.

From a cost perspective, its cost is typically lower than Tencel Lyocell (which also uses a closed-loop Lyocell process and is made from beech wood, but Tencel does not possess natural UV protection or antibacterial properties), but higher than bamboo viscose. It is a highly cost-effective yarn.

Regarding applications, what scenarios is it suitable for? It can replace rayon, viscose, bamboo viscose, and Tencel, creating a variety of soft and comfortable fabrics, thereby enhancing the functionality and practicality of clothing.
